People practice martial arts for many different reasons. For many people their martial arts practice
is a way of keeping fit and healthy, developing confidence, having the ability to defend yourself in dangerous situations,
and just having fun. But for may people martial arts practices can be much more than these things; for some people it becomes
a way of life and a part of their identity; and even more than this, it can become a spiritual discipline, a path of self-development
and self-realisation that is profound in its power and at the same time consistent with any religious affilliations that you
may have.
This section of my site is dedicated to the way of the warrior as a spritual path - the Dao of the
martial arts.
