The Main characteristic of the leopard style is speed. Fast combinations of strikes from multiple directions are commonly used to overwhelm an opponents defense. You need to have good cardiovascular fitness to use the leopard style well, and leopard training is very good for improving general fitness.

To form the Leopard Fist hold your hand open and flat, with the fingers together and the palm facing down, and then bend your fingers at the middle knuckle to form a fist as shown in the picture.
The use of this handform concentrates the power of a strike because the surface area that you strike with is smaller than if you use a standard fist. It is good for fast combinations alternating between one hand and the other, and gives you a greater range of different punches that can be used.
